Her last point about focusing on why Octavia was paid so little is key.

Yes! Everyone is booking her for interviews to talk about the amazing thing she did and how awesome she was for doing it (I’m not taking from that because it was awesome), BUT you aren’t seeing many, if any, asking WHY Octavia was making so little, for so long, and WHY Jessica HAD to do this in the first place. Why she’s urging others to do it, because it’s so rampant with women and even more with women of color. THAT is what the focus should really be on.

Tony Stark is seen munching on Burger King burgers after he’s rescued. While on a bender, Robert Downey, Jr. was driving around with a trunk full of drugs and stopped by a Burger King to get something to eat. He took one bite and found the burger to be so disgusting that he had to stop and take a moment to seriously consider what he was doing with his life. Realizing that he needed to shape up and take responsibility for himself, he immediately drove to the ocean and threw out the drugs he’d just bought and proceeded to clean up his life. Downey had the Burger King products placed in the film to acknowledge how the company played a role in his getting healthy enough to play Tony Stark. (x)

this is… so funny to me like I can just imagine the burger king execs getting so excited bc product placement for free??? and then theu find out its bc they have awful food n theyre like….. :/

Well, not really. The point is that the burger was expected to taste good, but didn’t because RDJ’s continuous drug overuse pretty much shot his taste buds to scrap. If anything, RDJ was saying that he (usually) enjoys Burger King product! Free product placement: yes, crappy burgers: no.
