“When I die, I don’t want to go to heaven or hell. I want to stay on earth and haunt people. Turn the lights on in the kitchen when you thought you’ve turned them off.  Hide under the bed and grab your leg when it dangles off while you’re sleeping.  Sit in the backseat and show up in your rearview mirror when you’re driving alone at night. Being a ghost sounds like a lot of fun!”

People joking about Batman mourning Superman because they barely knew each other and definitely weren’t friends. But I don’t think he’s mourning like “oh my good friend is dead how sad”. I think it’s more like he’s feeling guilty for how wrongly he judged Supes & fought with him and he’s mourning for people who lost their hope and some of them will never be saved because Superman is gone and there’s only so much Batman can do. Supes has always been the ultimate hero after all. So it kinda feels like when you watch the tv and hear a man, who has been doing good for people in such dark times, dies and despite not knowing that person you mourn his dead because he was a good guy and you know what he has done and what he could have done for this world.
