Trying to find a fic

I’m not sure if it was a actual Stony fic or if it was a fic of stony trying to be a thing again? I just remember at one point Hydra had hijacked FRIDAY, and the evil system had the avengers all in a room and was threatening to kill Tony if they didn’t give up Bucky. Bucky was willing to go and Tony was willing to die? Steve couldn’t let Bucky be taken by hydra again. I think Tony had something working in the background (or maybe it was FRIDAY herself) which de-escalated everything. I think FRIDAY got infected via a flash drive given by Fury (or Nat?)?

The story wasn’t written bashing any characrers (I don’t think). I also think that Tony and Bucky had developed a friendship.

Anyway, the “hostage” scene was tense to read. I can’t remember if there was another chapter or if I read the next. There’s no way that would have been the end!

So mpreg isn’t my thing. I don’t run from it, but I also don’t seek it out. I know I’ve read fics with mpreg, but I don’t think the point of those fics was the actual mpreg? 🤔 Am I confusing myself before I even get started lol

Anyway! I was scrolling down my dash, barely skimming and scanning, when I half registered the words “Bucky” “Tony” “anxious about pregnancy”. I had actually scrolled past it until my brain was like ‘wait. Is bucky the one who’s pregnant?’ and I scrolled back up to see. It was Tony and so I kept scrolling. A few minutes passed and this nagging little question wouldn’t go away: is it always Tony?

By the time I started typing this post, I realize that the question in my mind morphed into other questions:

In winteriron, is it ever Bucky? Is it ever Steve in stony? … Is it ever Thor if the pairing is Steve/Thor or Tony/Thor… or even thorki?… Is the pregnant one ever the physically bigger/stronger of the male characters?
