fortunately, diana is mighty (x)

I feel like both of them would be so happy to fight each other because they consider the other as a worthy opponent.

They would be kindergartener’s level of excited and happy while they were fighting too.

Thor *fist pump*: That block was marvellous

Diana *clapping*: your back swing is impressive

Thor: have you ever tried coffee?

Diana: no? I have tried ice cream though

then they both go off and get on a caffeinated sugar high and discuss humanity.

It’s really ugly to laugh at and belittle people in diaspora trying to learn about and reclaim identities and cultures that have been stripped from them because of genocide, slavery, white supremacy and assimilation. Consider what it is that you’re laughing at and have some compassion.

This reminds me of an old classmate of mine, who was thrilled to finally find out about her heritage. She even planned a trip to West Africa. She said, unfortunately some of the people she encountered were amused at her going all the way there to connect when she’s clearly American. They only saw her and treated her as American, and not everyone was a fan of Americans. So she said she found herself feeling like an outcast in this new country she was determined to connect with and feels outcasted in America regularly because that just comes with being black in America. “Where do I belong if I’m treated like I don’t belong in both places?” I didn’t even know how to respond, but damn that hit home.

it’s just so hilarious how some people want bucky and steve to appear in the black panther film. “where’s bucky?? where’s steve??? why aren’t they in the trailer???’ look i get that civil war ended with the both of them being in wakanda but that doesn’t mean that they’re going to be in the film. if they are, post credits at most! black panther is supposed to be about t’challa, and wakanda and it’s gonna focus around that. don’t get me wrong, i love steve and bucky, don’t get me wrong, but i’d love them not to be in this movie please and thank you!

let this film focus on t’challa please, it’s his movie!!

This! I want to learn about these new (to me) characters. Sure, I’m looking forward to them interacting with my old faves, but please can we have some time with just T’Challa and his set?

I am ready for T’Challa’s story. I need to know about Wakanda. So, I could care less if Steve or Bucky are in it. I kinda hope this movie has the same thing as Wonder Woman, an individual story vaguely set in the same universe. I don’t need much connections at this point to be honest.

Marvel fans: please go see Wonder Woman because it’s not very often that we get a superhero movie with a woman protagonist

DC fans: please go see Black Panther next February because it’s not often that we get a superhero movie with a predominantly POC cast

What I’m trying to say is, these movies stand for something more important than your fandom

t’challa definitely wouldn’t drain his nations resources outfitting the avengers, that’s ridiculous, if anything he would invest in making sure civilians all over the world were protected from the avengers antics
like at the most t’challa would make bucky a new arm when he gets better bc he agreed to help him but realistically it comes attached with a one way ticket out of wakanda and t’challa tells him very seriously that no offense but he hopes he never sees bucky here again

Thank you so much. T’Challa might well make whatever normal prosthetics are used by Wakandas available to Bucky, but any neurological interface those have would be difficult to implement with the hardware he has to have implanted deep in his shoulder. He isn’t going to dedicate the research needed to repair/replace the part that was blown off, especially since it would involve working with a totally different kind of tech if the independent development of Wakanda is to be believed.

And he definitely isn’t giving him a new Murder Arm, if anything it would be weaker than his serum steroid juiced other one. He doesn’t need the ex-vengers for Wakanda, and if he cares about the world at large, he’s going to work with people who can leave Wakanda without being arrested.
