I’ve been thinking about @pokeasleepingsmaug‘s “prostitute red” coworkers all day and this is the list I came up with. Feel free to add your own!
1. You’re a world-class athlete competing in the championship you have literally spent your entire life working towards, but the judges who will be scoring you are waaaay over there and the sport you are competing in requires a certain amount of artistic expression and you need your features to be more easily visible.
2. It makes you feel pretty.
3. You’re performing in some sort of play or musical or concert and it’s part of your stage makeup.
4. You’ve got dark hair and pale skin (like me) and you want to rock the Snow-White look.
5. It’s considered impolite to feast on the blood of your enemies nowadays, so this is the next best thing.
6. You love and adore Agent Peggy Fucking Carter.
7. You like seeing which men you come across in your day to day life you can hypnotize with it.
8. It’s part of a Halloween costume.
9. It looks fucking good
10. It makes you feel like a sexy super villain.
11. You damn well feel like it.
12. Your coworkers will spend all day talking about how the lipstick makes your full lips stand out. Even more.
13. You won’t need to apply much more make-up. The red lipstick is usually enough.
14. If you have pale skin and dark hair, you will look like one of the most interesting women: Morticia Adams.
15. To remind yourself that you’re a conquering warrior. Red lipstick and a swagger is basically on par with beating a sword on a shield.
16. To remind men you are a Goddess and deserve respect and awe. And also that you aren’t afraid to skewer them where they stand
